At the time, no one believed in the durability of the brand, many perceiving it as the umpteenth project of a celebrity who had already dabbled in ready-to-wear and the world of beauty. However, three years after its launch, it has transformed its label into an inclusive symbol of women's underwear, offering flesh-colored models suitable for all skin tones. An important issue while the lack of representation and products adapted to black skin, in particular, are denounced. Result: last June, Skims became the official supplier of American female athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Tokyo. A consecration for the star, whose ex-mother-in-law Caitlyn Jenner had won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics.
