Lingerie: what makes men fantasize (and what women like to wear)

There are big differences in lingerie between those who wear it and those who admire it (and take it off).

A major study conducted by the underwear site 1001 Below (whose mission is to give advice to gentlemen wishing to buy underwear for their wives) decided to make the comparison leading the survey to 950 people in France. It is the Huffington Post which reveals the conclusions.

The objective of lingerie for women, in addition to wanting to seduce the other, is above all to "please oneself", this is one of the great lessons of the study. " Compared to only 10 years ago, women no longer hesitate to assume their lingerie. Having sexy lingerie no longer means taking the risk of being seen as a sex object. It's feeling more like a woman, stronger, it's having fun. The relationship of women to lingerie has evolved considerably", thus analyzes Cyril Toulet, president of 1001dessous, in the Huffington post. On the men's side, the survey finds that lingerie remains indeed a matter of seduction. Hence significant differences between men and women in terms of choice of lingerie:

>>>Lingerie should be...

For 47% of women, lingerie should above all be comfortable. The sexy side is taken into account for 45% of them.

It is much clearer, unsurprisingly, among men. 75% of them think lingerie should be sexy, while only 22% think it should be comfortable.

These differences are also marked in the choice of brands, as revealed by a previous survey. If women tend to turn to comfortable and sexy brands (Etam, Victoria's Secret, Dim), men favor sexy lingerie with Victoria's Secret in the lead, far ahead, of their preferences.

>>>The sexy piece par excellence is...

The differences are even more marked when we analyze the pieces chosen to seduce. While 64% of women opt for a "cute" 2-piece set to seduce their partner, only 32% want their partner to wear this kind of adornment. Men prefer their women to go out all the way, in thongs (42%), garter belts (50%), or corsets (41%). Pieces that are generally much less favored by women.

>>>Black is popular

Red, black, white? What color literally cracks the male sex? Black comes first. And that's good because it's also the favorite color of women. This color is closely followed, in both men and women, by red and white... White wins a few percentages anyway in women... The explanation is of a practical nature: white, because than invisible, is quite practical under light-coloured clothing.

>>>Lingerie under the tree?

8 out of 10 women have already received lingerie from their husband. 1 out of 10 by her lover... The proportions are more or less similar for men: 88% of them have already offered underwear to their wives and 14% to their mistress. couples or lovers.

The survey also shows that women do not hesitate to buy lingerie with girlfriends. They are 11% to have done so.
