Who hasn't hummed "We're soooooaring, flyyyying" after watching the first installment of the High School Musical trilogy? Admit! Besides, you even fantasized about the love story of Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez, these two high school students played by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens who discovered in the film a passion for singing, even a passion altogether since they fell in love – and this, on the screen as well as in the city (honestly, we can say that it is a bit of the ancestor of Glee).
High School Musical, a musical whose first episode was broadcast on M6 in 2006 (the other two followed in 2007 and 2008), has just celebrated its 10th anniversary! To celebrate, Disney Channel USA scheduled a rerun and hosted a small reunion.
Over the course of a weekend, main cast members Vanessa Hudgens (who played Gabriella), Ashley Tisdale (her rival Sharpay), Lucas Grabeel (Ryan, Sharpay's twin), Corbin Bleu (basketball player Chad) and Monique Coleman (Taylor), returned to East High in Albuquerque to shoot some scenes to remember the good old days.

Nostalgic, they shared their emotion on social networks: “This morning we shot something special to thank all the fans who support us and for their unconditional love of High School Musical! #10 years,” Ashley Tisdale posted on Instagram, while Vanessa Hudgens posted, “It happened!! A small reunion…10 years later. Crazy !!! and "Love them forever" captioned another photo.
Unfortunately, a key character was missing: Troy, aka Zac Efron, was conspicuous by his absence, retained on the set of The Disaster Artist, James Franco's next film. Come on, let's play the flagship song of the musical to celebrate!
