(Relaxnews) - Colombian singer J Balvin is getting into fashion.
The reggaeton star has teamed up with Guess to design a range of 42 items called "Guess Vibras", in reference to his latest studio album.
This collection, which will be on sale from February 7, includes masculine and feminine pieces and develops a colorful, summery and slightly retro aesthetic. While women's items include oversized cropped t-shirts, bodysuits, joggers and denim in shades of red, yellow, pink, green and white, the men's collection is more color-block focused with denim and tie-dye patterns. This range also includes swimsuits, socks and a multicolored fanny pack.
"This capsule is very inspired by the Miami of the 90s", commented J Balvin about this latest project. "This collection is inspired by 'Vibras': good energy, good vibrations (...). Joining forces with Guess and designing my first collaboration with a major global brand was a dream, and it's only the beginning." "Watching the chemistry operate between J Balvin and Nicolai [Marciano, Guess Director of Partnerships] during the creative process was very instructive for me," added Paul Marciano, the brand's co-founder. "I saw how millennials think, create and translate what fashion means to them today. There are no rules!"
This is not the first time that Guess has worked with Balvin, the singer became the brand's ambassador for the spring 2019 campaign last November.
